Arogyadham Health & Wellness Herbal Museum: A Living Legacy of Ayurveda
At Arogyadham Health & Wellness, the Arogyadham Herbal Museum is home to one of India’s best collections of medicinal and rare herb plants. With more than 900 carefully preserved herbs, this herbal museum inspires Ayurvedic knowledge and natural healing. It is one of the best herbal museums in the country, and its collection is comprehensive.
This Herbal Museum of Arogyadham Health & Wellness features a variety of potent herbs known for their strong therapeutic properties and used in many disease treatments.
All visitors from around the world can explore Ayurvedic plants here, such as Kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) known for its antiviral effects, and Kutki (Picrorhiza kurroa) used in treating liver protection and immunity support. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), known as the cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicines, along with traditional staples like Garlic (Allium sativum), Turmeric (Curcuma longa), and Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), are all recognised for their healing and immune-boosting properties.
Each specimen of an herbal plant—such as turmeric rhizomes, onion bulbs, and tulsi leaves—is kept in a scientifically preserved environment and carefully displayed to showcase its therapeutic value in daily life.
"No other Ayurvedic institute in the country presently houses such a rich collection of medicinal plant specimens. This herbal museum serves as a heritage archive, research, and educational resource for future generations."
Shri Suraj Bhan, the former Governor of Uttar Pradesh, launched the Arogyadham Herbal Museum.
