Ayurvedic Treatment for piles in Ludhiana

What is Piles?

Piles (Hemorrhoids) are swelling that occur in the anal and the lower rectum it is a vascular structure. Hemorrhoids become Piles when it is swollen or inflamed. Hemorrhoids are like cushions made of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels surrounded by supporting tissues which are made up of muscles and elastic fiber. Some of the known reasons that Hemorrhoids caused are due to inadequate intake of fiber, prolonged sitting on the toilets and straining to have a bowl movement. Piles are caused by increased pressure in the lower rectum. The blood vessels around the anus and in the rectum will stretch under pressure and may swell or bulge, forming piles.

There are two types of hemorrhoids internal hemorrhoids and external hemorrhoids. Internal type is painless as that area doesn’t have pain receptor but rectal bleeding occurs. Whereas external type causes pain in the anus area along with inflammation and itching. One of the best ways of preventing piles is by keeping the stool soft so that it passes easily and the pressure in the rectal area will decrease.

Normal hemorrhoidal tissue cannot be seen since they must first swell and become inflamed or develop a clot to cause symptoms. One can see swollen external hemorrhoids or internal prolapsed hemorrhoids exposed outside the anus but internal hemorrhoids cannot be seen because they remain inside the anus. A thrombosed hemorrhoid will appear as a lump at the anal verge, protruding from the anus and will be dark bluish in color because of the blood clot contained inside the swollen blood vessel. A non-thrombosed hemorrhoid will appear as a rubbery lump. Often more than one swollen hemorrhoid appears at the same time.
