• The Arogyadham family has a lineage of more than 100 years in healthcare, and Dr. Agarwal has been serving humanity for over 44 years.
• Late Dr. Gunwant Rai Agarwal established Arogyadham in 1914 at Muzaffarnagar, UP. He was later joined by Late Vaidyaraj Sh. V.C. Agarwal. Since 1982, Dr. Rakesh Agarwal has continuously served at Arogyadham along with his family.
• In 1992, the Arogyadham Family Health Magazine was launched and is now read by millions of people across India and abroad.
• In 1998, the Arogyadham Global AIDS Research Foundation was launched under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Rakesh Agarwal, recognised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, providing charitable services worldwide in the field of yogic healthcare through Ayurveda practices.
• In 2010, Maa Yoga Ashram, Rishikesh, opened under the Dynamic Leadership of Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj for Ayurvedic Sciences, Yogic Sciences, and Holistic Treatment Centre along with Panchakarma therapies.
• Arogyadham Global AIDS Research Foundation is working on R&D with more than 600 herbs. All herbs are farmed organically under the supervision of Dr. Rakesh.
• Dr. Agarwal ensures adherence to the highest professional standards, working with integrity, believing in quality over quantity, and practising with patience and love. He maintains traditional wholesome values often lost in today’s society.

He is further engaged in the research and development of Ayurvedic formulations based on herbs, Rasayanas, and Bazikarans for the treatments of sexual disorders and chronic diseases, e.g., AIDS, diabetes mellitus, migraines, joint pains, psoriasis, allergic bronchial asthma, etc.
